Architecture and History
Monte de Torquines is the restoration and reinterpretation of a traditional Alentejo farmhouse, designed to blend naturally into the surrounding landscape. Completed in 2024, the project combines contemporary architecture with the simplicity and traditional materials of the region.

Location
Located in Sabóia, in the municipality of Odemira, Monte de Torquines is set in a peaceful part of the Alentejo. The location is ideal for discovering the Santa Clara-a-Velha Dam, exploring nature trails, and visiting small villages across the region.
Comfort and Privacy
Monte de Torquines offers two fully independent studios designed to provide comfort, privacy, and tranquillity. Each space has been carefully created for a relaxed stay, surrounded by the landscapes of the Alentejo countryside.
The studios
Each studio features a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, comfortable bedroom, and private bathroom, offering everything needed for an independent and relaxed stay. Guests also have access to the outdoor spaces and swimming pool, perfect for enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the property.
Double Studio
A bright and thoughtfully designed studio where the simplicity of the space highlights the comfort of your stay. Designed as an open-plan space, it includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living area with a sofa bed, creating a spacious and functional setting. The studio also features a bedroom with a double bed and a private bathroom with a shower, as well as direct access to the swimming pool.

Twin Studio
A comfortable and serene studio, ideal for guests who prefer separate beds. The space includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living area with a sofa bed, maintaining a simple and functional layout. It features a bedroom with two single beds and a private bathroom with a bathtub. The studio also benefits from direct access to the outdoor swimming pool and includes an integrated alcove with built-in seating.
